Strengthen the Outer Banks community and your business by becoming an Oink & Oyster Roast Sponsor

The Oink & Oyster Roast is in its 21st year and draws 350-400 people from the Outer Banks and from visitors who come from mid-Atlantic states and the Midwest for a beautiful fall weekend. The Oink & Oyster Roast is heavily promoted during the month preceding the event and sponsors are included in that promotion.

Proceeds from the event support various Outer Banks charities from the Outer Banks Relief Fund, The Beach Food Pantry to the First Flight High School programs to …well, you just about name it.

Held the Saturday of Columbus Day weekend (October 8, 2022), the Oink & Oyster Roast hosts hundreds of attendees – both locals and visitors – each year and keeps getting bigger. Further, the Oink & Oyster Roast is promoted by East Carolina Radio Stations, plus the Outer Banks Voice news website, and many social and traditional media release. Attendees are both locals and visitors.

First Flight Rotary partners with other groups, such as the First Flight High School Band, which extends the reach of the event and its fund-raising benefits to community efforts.

 

Sponsorship levels include:

Grilling Sponsor: $300 – Option to put sponsor logo banner in tent, one sponsor promo item in guest bag, and mention in Oink & Oyster promotional materials; 2 tickets
Roasting Sponsor: $500 – Grilling Sponsor benefits, PLUS larger banner in tent, two items in gust bag; 6 tickets
Shucking Sponsor: $1,000 – Roasting Sponsor benefits, PLUS special mention in media promotions and you can put up a table display in tent; 10 tickets and logos on Outer Banks Voice
Title “Pearl” Sponsor: $5,000 – Shucking sponsor benefits, PLUS event would be called “[Name of Sponsor] Oink & Oyster Roast put on by the First Flight Rotary Club,” plus the opportunity for a promotional banner at the event and to put promotional materials on each table; 20 tickets and logos on Outer Banks Voice and all 7 radio stations

All sponsors are subject to review for consistency with the purpose of Rotary. Shucking & Title sponsors must receive Board approval so as to avoid any conflicts.

The First Flight Rotary Club Foundation is a non-profit charity.  A copy of the Foundation’s tax exempt 501(c)(3) status letter is available upon request.
